Yeah, man, that sounds good! Some people might think you're being kind of a buzz kill towards the end though, so maybe point out that they can still live normal lives here. But that means a different kind of normal than they're used to and in order to achieve any kind of normalcy, they're gonna have to fight for it and accept that things just aren't gonna be the way they were where they come from. You can make a home out of pretty much anywhere, even this shithole, but it means adapting to the situation. People need a huge dose of reality but they also need hope, since that's usually what gives people the strength to keep going.
Also you say you a lot when we and us would probably go over a lot better. It'll give the sense that we're all in this together as a community. And just remember that not everyone is going to like what you say and that's fine. Don't get defensive and don't backtrack. Someone disagreeing with you doesn't necessarily make you wrong.
All in all, I think this speech makes you sound a lot more relatable than your last one.
You make a good point, yeah. I really don't want to distance myself any more from everyone than I already have. Alright. We and Us. I can do that. And yeah, sprinkling some hope in is a good idea. I had a lot more in mind, but back home, people get sick of my life-goes-on optimism pretty fast.
I was censoring myself a bit in the wrong area.
You think they'll take it any better? I'm a pretty tough guy, I can handle it if they don't. But people tend to listen a bit more when they don't hate you, you know?
There's really nothing wrong with optimism as long as you're realistic about it. My best friend's an optimist and everyone likes him. It's part of what makes him an awesome leader. Just sprinkle in a little more hope and us and we and you'll be good.
Yeah, I think they'll take it better. I think the main issue they were having before was the thing with the ghosts and zombies anyway. So like, just don't say anything that might come across as racist or discriminatory and you should be fine. There seems to be a lot of supernatural creatures here, including yourself, so just remember that they want to be treated like everyone else. Also you should give some serious thought to whether outing yourself as a wolf shifter to random people is really something you want to do. There's nothing wrong with what you are, but it could be dangerous. You never know who might just decide you must be evil just because you're not completely human. Be careful with that.
